Secure them and until a reuse can be found for them. I live in Miami, and we had a Robert E. Lee school built in 1919. It looked like a castle. It was impressive. The neighborhood changed and the school district said they had no use for it and tore it down. Then less than a year later built another school on the site. What a waste. A city government should have to prove a building of age and architectural significance is no longer needed or put to another use before they would be permitted to tear it down. A large amount of public money went into funding these buildings and those spending tax money should be held accountable for keeping them in usable condition. They should never be allowed to get in the condition many of these abandoned buildings get in through neglect.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5398633296962611892.post-32375620021775930542017-05-05T07:13:44.463-07:002017-05-05T07:13:44.463-07:00Thank you so much! :) Thank you so much! :) PlacesThatWerehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08906573012383225740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5398633296962611892.post-81379508832769398042017-05-03T16:36:15.521-07:002017-05-03T16:36:15.521-07:00I have come back to look at this post dozens of ti...I have come back to look at this post dozens of times because I absolutely love the photograph at the top of the post. It's beautiful and sad and somehow loud and quiet all at the same time. Your photography talent really shows in these theater pics.
